NURSING SERVICES:
24 hour nursing services are provided by our team of Registered Nurses,
Licensed Practical Nurses, and provincially certified Personal Care(P.C.W.)
and Continuing Care Workers(C.C.W.).

MEDICAL SERVICES:
All residents have the right to the Doctor of their choice who is
responsible for all their medical services. If no doctor is available
or the resident would prefer, services may be provided by the homes
Medical Advisor.

PHYSIOTHERAPY:
Both a Physiotherapist and Physioaide work on a part time basis to
provide services to our residents. The goal is to ensure as much independence
as possible and maintain and/or enhance the abilities of each resident.

DIETARY SERVICES:
Delicious, nutritious and attractive meals and snacks are provided
by our Dietary Department. Operating from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., seven
days a week, we have qualified cooks and dietary aides on had to provide
a healthy and pleasant dining experience. Our part time dietitian
oversees special diets and the overall nutritional value of our menus.

ACTIVITIES:
A full calendar of activities and events is offered each month. Our
Program Director and part time activity worker ensure a variety of
activities, from Bingo to musical entertainment to religious services,
are available to all residents. The social, psychological and spiritual
stimulation provided by these activities is a very element in the
quality of life at Maple Hill. This department is also responsible
for the recruitment and coordination of volunteers. If you have some
time to give we love to have you.

LAUNDRY/HOUSEKEEPING:
All residents personal laundryis done in house by our housekeepoing
staff. They also ensure clothing is properly labelled and do mending
as required. Housekeeping services are provided seven days a week
and regular housecleaning helps to keep our home clean and comfortable.

MAINTENANCE:
Our maintenance department ensures all equipment is in good operating
condition, safe and in good repair. Any electrical equipment or appliances
brought into our home must be inspected by our staff.
An active and on going preventative maintenance program ensures that
our home is safe, comfortable and attractive.

RESIDENT ADVOCATE
Our Resident Advocate works with residents, family and all staff to
ensure that physical, social and psychological needs are appropriately
met and regularly reviewed. Needs addressed can range from dealing
with the adjustment to the home to clothing needs and anything of
concern to the resident.

RESIDENT COUNCIL:
This group of residents meets regularly to discuss activities, any
concerns they may have and/or preferences in care, food or activities.
A resident is elected as President and they work with the Program
Director to ensure concerns and/or suggestions are properly addressed.

HAIRDRESSER:
Our beauty salon operates two days a week, ensuring residents look
good and feel good about themselves.

MOBILITY SERVICE:
Through the use or our wheel chair accessible bus our residents are
able to participate in outings, visit family and enjoy site seeing
trips.
This service is also available to the physically challenged and aged
groups and/or individual within the community. For a small fee the
bus can be booked in advance for your transportation needs. For more

For a small fee seniors in the community can come to our home ortake
